How far down in the ground is bedrock?

I live in east central missouri if this helps?

The depth to bedrock is highly variable and depends on geology, climate and slope. In humid, tropical conditions it may be tens of metres, and in cold, dry conditions the bedrock may be less than 1 m deep.  I have no idea of your conditions in Central Missouri, however.

It depends on what has been deposited on top of it, and what has been eroded away.  I can't see how current climate makes a difference.

Look online to see if Missouri has a geological survey, then see if they have an online map that may show depth to bedrock.
