  1. If you go east, and don't change direction, you will just keep going east.


  2. as the poet said "East is East and West is West and never the twain shall meet". in other words you can't go west by going east. just doesn't work that way.

  3. 360 degrees, and after that you'll repeat the process. Columbus first tried this by going west (same as your question) was stopped in his track (or voyage) by land and he has to turn back. Magellan attempted it. He turned out alive, returned successful but dead. Remember 'Operation successful but patient died!'

    All these notions like what you wrote are archaic. Either you are inattentive in the class or your teacher is bad. There is a third alternative - you've read too much of Rowling's 'Harry Potter' that you started believing in miracles and such weird happenings so much that you lost touch with reality. It is like an intelligent ant crawling around an Orange trying to figure out such things.
