How far from Birmingham international train station to The NEC?

right i am going to Crufts on the Friday (gundog Day)

but i cannot decided weather it would be quicker to get the train and walk from the train stattion.

Or

Take the car and walk form the car park (they also provide a bus)

You can get the train to the nec then there is a mono link into the building

The train station is part of the NEC complex. Just take the escalator up from the platform and follow the signs - you'll probably walk between 3 and 10 minutes depending on which NEC halls are in use for Crufts.

Go on the train, you can walk straight through the station into the NEC I'm sure. Have a look on the NEC website to double check.

They are connected buildings. There is a roofed walkway. It is probably quicker to walk from trainstation than carpark

Take the train.  It's a covered walkway from the station to the NEC, ten minutes walk.

A major disadvantage of driving the car is that at closing time, it will take forever to get out of the car park - been there, done that.

The station is part of the NEC.  From the train to Cruft's will take about 10 minutes.

It's quicker walking form the station - it took me roughly 1/4 of an hour to walk from the car park to hall 1 (the furthest), so it would roughly take you 10 minutes.
