How far from my foundation should a ( florida ) Swietenia mahogani tree be?

I have a florida mahogany tree thats 11 feet from my house. should i cut it down or will my house be ok. i live in florida and the tree will grow fast. right now its only about 14 feet tall and 10 feet wide. the trunk is about 20 inches in dim. so sould i keep it? tanks

Eventually the roots will invade the foundation, if they haven't already.

Personally any tree that close scares me.I have done some concrete tear out and replace in full basements where trees are 50' from the house.There was root systems under the slabs.The thing some forget is a root base is always seeking water and will go to any source.
