With the technology we have at our disposal, do you think we can construct and fly anti-gravity craft in the near future?

  1. Some time in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.  We haven't made any progress at all yet.  For a start, making you weightless on the Earth's surface will require as much energy as lifting you to a great height, because you'd be able to lift off for free, switch off the antigravity, and fall back to Earth otherwise, thereby getting free kinetic energy.  But antigravity craft don't contradict any fundamental physical laws, so I claim that one day we'll have them.

  2. Maybe we'll all have nifty little personal vector thrust aircraft someday soon, but I wouldn't bet on antigravity.

It's not something that people are "working on", there's not even a good reason to expect to ever discover anything like antigravity. It's not impossible that we might discover something that leads to antigravity, but it would definitely be a major revolution in our understanding of the universe.

  3. thats actually impossible. cept mayb lol im just blowing some random **** outof my *** but antigravitons? haha sounds like science fiction to some but it might be possible someday

  4. nowhere.

    no.  not ever.

  5. it depends what you mean by 'anti gravity'

do levitating trains fall into that category? because they already exist
