How far in advance does Oak Street Beach (in Chicago) need to be booked for a wedding (ceremony only)?

The Chicago Parks District website doesn't exactly have a ton of information on this...

Does anyone know how far in advance the beach needs to be booked for a wedding ceremony? Is it something that can be done in 6 months, or is this such an in-demand site that I'd need to reserve it a year or more in advance?

You really just need to contact them.

Places like that vary from a year to even three years in advance.

your going to need 1-2 years in advance

also you have to consider that they are most likely booked in june july august because these are the "best" months.

You should call them first thing tomorrow and ask them.  Even if you only need to book 3 weeks or a whole 2 years in advanced, someone could still have the date/time you want already booked.

Just call them and book it!
