How far is Ballincollig to Cork City?

Ì am looking at an apartment in Ballincollig at the moment and i will not have my own transport during the day. How frequent is public transport to and from the city?

Buses run every 20 minutes from Ballincollig to the city centre

about 5mins drive, traffic can be a nightmare so maybe 10..better off in bishopstown or wilton if ya want to be a bit closer...public transport is like a bus every half hour more frequent in the morning..

its about 30 min to cork city

it is 6 miles from cork city and you can get a bus from the city to there it is about every 30 to 40 min i an unsure of the price but it is cheap

ya its not that far from the city centre...about a 30 min walk...

buses run every 15 ins

it is a lovely place to live and is very quiet area.

and for a taxi fare it would be 7 euro

its about 30mins-i used to live in middelton before and that was almost 1hour to cork city
