How far is Cancun from Riviera Maya (Mexico) ???

My girl friend and i are planning a holiday to Mexico in the summer - We are planning on staying in Riviera Maya yet would like to visit Cancun to experience the night life etc...

How far is it - The travel agent said not far ... Any body know for sure????

Cancun is the north end of the Riviera Maya. Tulum is the south end. The Riviera Maya is a 90 mile long stretch between the two. Pick your resort.

Be sure to ask your travel agent how long a trip from the airport. Our resort in Tulum was nearly two hours, because a few others needed dropping off first.

Its about 40 miles depending on where you will be staying to cancun...the bus is the cheap way to go but you will have to transfer to another bus or get a taxi when you get to cancun as the bus from playa to cancun goes to the airport or bus station in cancun...returning to riviera maya after partying...take the taxi as the bus system probably wont coencide with your travel time and its so easy to do...... I take the taxis and agree on the price first as they will bargain with you

Cancun is the Northern most point of the Riveria Maya, Tulum on the Southern end. So you see you will already be there. You can take a good bus from the Centarl Termional in Cancun that will stop all the way down. I suugest a trip to Playa de Carmen. For the nightlife in Cancun go down to the Plaza Fieasta, Lot's of big clubs and fun times. Enjoy your stay!!!

The night life in Riviera Maya is good. Go to Playa del Carmen and hit all the hot spots on Fifth Avenue. Cozumel is a ferry ride away.

Cancun is a good 30/40 miles from Riviera Maya.

It's 45 MILES from the Cancun Airport to the Riviera Maya.

You can take a bus (cheapest way) and it will take you depending on traffic at least 45 minutes or more.
