  1. I stayed next door to the Great Parnassus at the Le Meridian in early June this year. The hotel is located on a side street off of the main Hotel Zone Highway.

To take the public bus to Coco Bongo and the other bars, you have to walk about 600 yards which takes about 5 minutes to get to the bus stop. The bus ride (6.5 pesos or 60 cents) is about another 10-15 Minutes depending on how many stops the bus makes. One evening we walked all the way back to the hotel from where the clubs are and it took around 2 hours, but we walked slowly.

The airport is also about 15 minutes by car. We took a taxi and they charged us $50 from from the airport to the Hotel and $30 from the Hotel to the airport.

  2. here is a map so you can have a better idea www.dmap.travel coco bongo is around 20 minutes by bus and 15 minutes by taxi to the airport.

  3. The Coco Bongo is right in the middle of the Hotel Zone so it is likely within walking distance of your hotel (assuming your hotel is in the hotel zone). I can't speak for the distance from Hotel Zone to the airport, but I can speak for the distance from downtown Cancun to the airport.

From the ADO bus station in downtown Cancun it took nearly 30 minutes to get to the airport and the price was about $4 U.S., very inexpensive. The buses leave every 20 minutes and most of the employees at the bus station could speak english more or less.

  4. The airport is about 15 minutes to all the hotels. Coco bong is right smack   in the middle of the hotel zone......Great parnassus is closer to the airport then the coco bongo but have no fear there is a city bus the goes back and forth from the coco bongo to all the major hotels alll night long. I think it cost like 10 pesos or so....You will have a blast.....

  5. That hotel is about 9.5 miles from the airport. It seems to be about 20 minutes (bus ride) away from the main club zone where most of the nightclubs are. The bus is actually 65 pesos and is much cheaper then taking a cab. I'm going in 13 days and staying at the RIU Palace which is in walking distance to most of the clubs. But the bus ride is crazy fun (especially when your drunk). Just don't miss your stop because my friend and I did that one year and the next stop after our hotel was like 6 miles away. We were lucky and the guys that sell the pizza on the motorcycles gave us a ride back. Have fun!
