How far is Siddhivinayak temple from dadar station? I have option of getting down at Dadar or CST station. Which will be nearer? Is Dadar station has good waiting room (suitable for family) to get refreshed (taking bath etc) ? I will be reaching Dadar at 6 AM and my return train is at 3:30 pm. Is this time interval is good enough for siddhivinayak darshan on sunday? Generally how long it takes for darshan on sundays? Pls suggest some nearby places which I can visit if I have some spare time.

  1. The temple is located in Prabhadevi,Dadar, Mumbai.

Dadar station is closer than CST.

Catch a local train heading south to Victoria Terminus. Gaze in awe at the red facade, brass grills and the large entrance clock, each a perfect example of Victorian Railway architecture. After that, it's time to head down to Apollo Bunder and watch the pigeons at the Gateway of India, the icon of the city. To do this, it is best to walk south down the Colaba Causeway, shopping as you stroll along. Turn left into Shivaji Marg after a mile and you will see the Gateway after half a mile. If you feel tired along the way, hop on to Bus 2LTD, 22LTD, 43 or 44. Spend the rest of the morning near the Gateway, and have lunch  Eat a plate of bhelpuri followed by a vada pav, and cool off with a refreshing glass of coconut or mango juice.

  2. Siddhi vinayak temple is at prabhadevi which is in a cab not more than 10 minutes distance and if you are coming at 6 am dadar has proper waiting room and you can get fresh and do the darshan and easily board your afternoon train. Dont get down at CST.sunday morning there will not be much rush at temple andon the road have a good darshan.
