How far is guadalajara from LOS ANGELES driving?

i will be visting los angeles soon and i wanted to know how far is Guadalajara from Los Angeles California driving,and more over if the road is safe because i only know south of Mexico and what i heard of the north is not good

30 hours is a pretty close give or take a few hours.  If you will take I-10 over to Phoenix then I-19 to Nogales, it turns into 15 once your in side mexico.  Stay on that the entire way.  Its a toll road so you will be fine.  Most border towns aren't some place you would want to hang out, luckly for you Nogales isn't that bad, but I would just keep driving until you hit Hermosillo!   Have fun you'll love the drive!

Guadalajara  is about 30hrs away from LA. Driving is very good trough the toll roads. I took a trip to Durango last year and it was safe.

It is 890 miles fro Tijuana according to the Guia Roji...The Mexican road Atlas.  Border cities are known for their violence...so if you drive, just go straight thru quickly.  In Mexico, drive only in the daytime, plan your trip well...and you will be fine. if you would be travelling to Guadalajara or only a brief vacation...better to fly...that ia a looong, hot drive!
