How far is it from Manhatten to the Hamptons if driving?

The season's pretty much over so the traffic will start to die down after this week so it'll depend on when you're going but to drive to Westhampton it'll take probably 2 hours, allotting for traffic. To get out to East Hampton it'll be more like 3 hours. I recommend taking back roads if you're going to East Hampton. Also, I'd leave the city around 9am/10am if you're heading out east during the week & if you're heading out on a weekend I'd leave the city around 10am/11am.

depends on the traffic and what "hampton" you're going to- westhampton, southampton, easthampton.... To get to the general area, i'd say 2-3 hours, depending on whether you're going on the weekend when all the rich people are heading that way or during the week when it will be a lot quieter.

3 hours very Far take SunRise/ Montauk Highway Route 27 east. Very nice area though Love it there.

Ouch, I'd have to say 3 hours or more. Traffic gets horrible especially on the weekends when people from the City go out there for the Weekend and all drive back Sunday Night
