  1. it depends...if you want to go to Firenze or Siena, Assisi and the biggest city of the Tuscany you should taken the train!

  2. i thin you should take the train

  3. You are talking about 240 Km (150 miles). Unfortunately, you have in the middle the Appennini mountains and the A1 Interstate tends to follows all the curves! In my opinion the best way is by train, from Verona to Bologna and to Florence.

If you are instead planning to travel around the little towns in Tuscany, up and down the hills, drinking Chianti wine at every stop, then get a friend with a car!

  4. Hello From Verona to the border of the region Tuscany there will be  about 3 hours drive on highways, but if you don't feel like driving you can take a train and arrive at Florence or Pisa. I would suggest you to visit the most importatn cities of Tuscany of course such as Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano etc. But i also reccommend to visit the countryside and for this pls have a look at this amazing website www.ariannandfriends.com, where you will have many suggestions for visits and possibility to book a personal tour or even a personal package! have fun in Italy

  5. Hi!

I'm Italian... You can go by car or by train... It depends on your necessity.

I want to answer to Mirna:

The Italians drive very well. If there is someone who drive badly, you mustn't say that all the Italians drive badly.

I would say the same stupid thing about the English!

  8. Hello!

Where do you want to get in Tuscany?

If you want to go to Florence, it will be very easy to get there by train or by car.

There are some direct trains Verona- Firenze, or you can have a change in Bologna. It will be occur more or less 2 and half- 3 hrs.

For further information you can use trenitalia website and choose the best solution (and also the cheapest ). http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

If you prefer to get there by car, there are  good roads because you can use the motorway.
