  1. About 5 minutes away. Yes there are loads of buses


  2. There is also the Metro from Newcastle Central to Gateshead.

  3. As stated there is the Metro system see:

    Alternatively there are very good bus links mainly provided by Go North East, see:

    Go to the timetables and you will see that most of the services are now 'named' and use dedicated coloured buses.  (White buses are used as replacements when a dedicated one is unavailable)
