  1. since the moons orbit is elliptical, meaning oval shaped, its about 221,463 miles at perigee to about 251,968 miles at apogee. The average distance is about 238,857 miles.

    Hope This helps!

P.S, Perigee is the point in any orbit to the body being orbited and apogee is the point in orbit most distant from the body being orbited

  2. Couple of puffs of the magic dragon and you're there!

  3. The moon has an elliptical orbit around the Earth, so it isn't always the same but on average its about 250,000 miles.

  4. 1.282 light-seconds

  5. The moon is 384,399 kilometres from the centre of Earth.
