How far is itagpuri from chennai? how do i get there?

I checked Google Maps.  It cannot measure the distance, but it had a mileage key, and it looks to be about 1400 KM.  

1) Go down NH 4 to Pune

2) then take NH 9 from Pune to Sholapur

3) continue on NH 9 to Hyderabad then on to Vijayawada

4) then turn south on to NH 5 to Guntar and continue on NH 5 all the way to Chennai.

Good luck.  No promises about the condition of those roads through the interior, because I've never been there.  I just know how to Google maps. Go to the link and use your cursor to grab and move the map around.  Then, you can use the plus and minus to move closer and see the road names.

I know chennai. But i don't know itagpuri. I checked the other googlemap link. I amnot able to find where it is. I assume it is somewhere near Guntur or vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh. To reach that place, going via pune(maharashtra), sholapur is a very,very long route. It is like, if you want to go to a house next to yours in your right hand side, you start going from left side of your house and some how take turns and finally reach the right side of your street and then reaching the next house. I think you can take NH 5 to reach Guntur. After reaching that place, you can enquire there. May be you will take 6 hours to reach Guntur.
