i am planning on taking the train into penn station and from there what is the best tranportaion

My friend, assuming you're going to Six Flags Great Adventures, take any New York or Hoboken-bound train to Newark Penn Station.

Once at Newark Penn Station, transfer to NJ Transit bus route 308, which will take from Newark Penn Station to Six Flags.
