harbour line runs direct trains that will take 45 mins to an hour - taxi will take 1 hour 15 mins or so. distance is 15 kms

From CSTM get on a harbour local train ( either Bandra or Andheri ). It stops at all the stations. Get down at Bandra station. Go to the East side. You can get an autorickshaw at the foothills of the railway bridge ( both share autos[ Rs.5/- per head ] and pvt autos available here ). Auto will take you to the Terminus in 5 minutes flat. If you do not have lots of baggage, you can walk the distance.

From CSTM the train journey will take about 40 minutes or so.

There are trains from CST to Bandra.  It will take around 45 minutes to travel from Bandra to CST.
