  1. The closest thing the Palestinians have to a functioning capital is Ramallah, the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority.  However, since the Palestinians in the territories don't have an official state as of now, they also lack an actual capital.

Theoretically, it should take no more than a couple of hours to go from Gaza to the unofficial capital of Ramallah, but realistically it isn't possible due to the current situation.

As far as Jerusalem is concerned, it is the capital of the state of Israel, which is a recognized state with full legitimacy and a functioning government whose capital is Jerusalem.

  2. The Palestinian capital Jerusalem (Al-Quds in Arabic) is about an hour from the Gaza City.

You can get into Gaza through the Rafah crossing with Egypt.

  3. Jerusalem never was / is the capital of state of Israel.

The old capital of the Old Israel the kingdom was Shkam in the north east.

Not one country in the world is willing to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

  4. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for over 3,000 years.  Palestine is not a country, and therefore does not have a capital.

  5. Palestine is not an officially recognized country, therefore it has no capital. One day it will have one, it won't be Jerusalem.

Like it or not, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

  6. I'd say 3 to 10 years, if ever.

Currently, whether you like it or not, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and no parts of Jerusalem are under the control of the Palestinian authority.

Because Gaza is currently isolated, there's no legal way for to  can get into Gaza.

  7. As far away as a dream.

  8. you mean, how far is the "palestinian capital" Amman from "Palestinian city" Cairo?

    probs 3 hours?

    To be honest with you...

Jerusalem, is the CAPITAL OF ISRAEL, and will be Capital of the State of Israel forever, and will never be divided...

We, Tongans and Samoans, must defend and protect Jerusalem as the capital of Israel forever and defend and protect Israel from terrorists, pro terrorists (maybe like u?), anti semistic, anti israel, left wings, trouble makers...

    LONG LIFE ISRAEL!!!

Israel & Tonga & Samoa forever!

  9. how far is the palestinian capital "Null" from the "Null city"?

u know y?? it's coz there is no palestine country yet so they don't have a city or anything! the people (palestinians) are from Jordan as many people said it trillions of times.

so next time you should ask : How far is the Israeli capital "Jerusalem" from the Hamas control "Gaza city"?.

  10. LOOOL. Thanks for the laugh, really. The question is irrelevant. Since Palestine has not yet existed as an independent state, how could it have a capital city?

By the way, Jesrusalem is about 50 miles (80.47 km) away from Gaza City.

  11. Sorry but there is no such country as "palestine."  If you want to get to "gaza," you will have to swim to it in the Mediterranean Sea or enter through the Egyptian border, (good luck.)  With your attitude towards Israel, I highly doubt you could ever pass through Israel to get anywhere, let alone Jerusalem.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; })
