How far is the airport from downtown Sydney?

The airport in Sydney Nova Scotia is 20 - 30 minutes by cab or car to downtown Sydney.

I would allow about twice that length of time to get from the airport to downtown Sydney, Australia, particularly if you get a foreign taxicab driver like we did.  We had to look up our destination on a map and show him where to go.  He probably took a few extra turns to get there to up the fare, although it was rush hour, just our luck!

In Sydney NS the worst that can happen is that you will have to share your cab with 3 strangers and tell them all and the driver your life story.  It's just they way they are in Cape Breton!

The airport is 10-12 kms from the CDB, it should cost $25-30 in a taxi, there is also a train station underneath both domestic and international terminals as well and hotel buses.

It takes 15mins on the train from Sydney International Airport.  By taxi maybe 15-25 mins depending on traffic conditions.
