  1. The monorail is not near the Swan and Dolphin.  The only resorts connected to the monorail are

    The Contemporary

    The Polynesian

    The Grand Floridian

The Ticket and Transportation center is also connected, as well as the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  From the Dolphin you are better off taking a bus to your destination.

    Hope this helps!

  2. To get on the monorail from the Dolphin, you will have to take the boat to EPCOT (must have Park Hopper ticket) and walk all the way to the front of the park.  Once you exit the park, look for the monorail.  Hop on board, and it will take you to the transportation and ticket center, where you'll have to get off and get on another monorail.  Once on the next monorail, you can go to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort.

  3. And its important to note that if you do not have the park hopper option on your passes, going 'through' epcot will make that your park for the day, or if you have been at another park you will not be able to use that shortcut.

  4. The monorail runs through the following hotels only:

    Polynesian

    Contemporary

    Grand Floridian

    Parks

    Magic Kingdom

    Epcot

    Ticket and Transportation Center

So fastest way to get to it from the dolphin is to cut through Epcot from your neighboring walkway past beach club into epcot to exit which will bring you to the monorail

  5. This may have been clear from the other answers, but to be specific:  you can't get to the Dolphin from the monorail without entering and walking through Epcot, and then leaving Epcot through it's international gateway entrance, and then either walking or taking the boat to the Dolphin.

  6. It's true that cutting through Epcot will get you to the monorail, but of course you'll need a theme park admission ticket if you do that.

There is a bus that connects the Dolphin to the Magic Kingdom.  At the Magic Kingdom, you can transfer to the monorail, and no theme park admission is required.  This is a pretty good way to get from the Dolphin to the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary.  If you're going to the Magic Kingdom, of course all you need is the bus.

There are two ways to get to the bus stop at the Dolphin.  On the first floor, between the cafeteria and the health club, there is an escalator up to the bus stop.  You can also walk out the Dolphin's main entrance (which is on the *third* floor!), then take a left.

  7. its no where near it.

the dolphin resort is pretty close to the all stars and pop century value resorts.

    there are two monorail systmes.

the one monorail goes in a cirle from magic kingdom to the polynesian, to the grand floridian, to the ticket and transportation center, to the contemporary,  and back to magic kingdom.

the other monorail runs from the ticket and transportation center to epcot and back again.
