How far is too far in student teacher relationships?

I've always been curious about this? I am a female student, not stupid or naive, so I know men look, regardless of age.However, many male teachers seem to become inappropriate with their students. How far is too far to you? I've seen ones look at my b*****s, and I've seen some become "too close" with friends. One even got fired for doing a very inappropriate thing to a friend. So what do you think? And if you're a teacher, please do not get offended. It is just something I'm curious about. Any opinion is appreciated.

Thanks you guys ALOT. Im in middle school and i have a teacher that i "Like Like" and i was wondering where to draw the line with him. Obviusly somethings like kissing or having s*x are totally innapropriet, wrong and disgusting, and i would never do that. Also, i know that just because we are friends, doesnt mean that i that i dont have to work as hard in his class, and i would willingly accept any bad grade he gave me and not take it personally. I have, on the other hand, hugged him and had conversations with him that have nothing to do with school (Like Chicago winning the Stanly cup, GO CHICAGO!!!) It was helpful to know how other people, Especially you teachers who answered, you were a big help and know i guess that i need to back off a little bit and not be so friendly.
