How far of a drive is it from Shannon, Ireland to Dublin? What is the best way of transportation?

It is really a stop and go process because you are bound to want to get out and tour something or take pictures. but over all, it's at least 3 hours.

its about a 3 and a half hour drive if you drive during work hours if you leave it until late evening after 8pm or very early morning about 2.5 hours

its a pretty direct route

you can also get a train but you have to go to ennis or limerick for that as there is no train statin in shannon by train its still about 2.5 to 3 hours because of all the stops on the way up to dublin , but dont get a bus it takes ages about 6 hours and you will go mad on it, believe me i know. i live in clare which is where shannon is and i work in shannon about 200 feet from the airport runway , alternatively you could fly from shannon to dublin for about 80 euro i think if you have any more questions ask me :)
