My friend, that's a 23 blocks walk, depending on you walking speed it will take you about 30 to 60 minutes. My advice, take the subway.

From the hotel, you can walk two blocks north along Broadway to Columbus Circle and take downtown (southbound) #1, "A" or "C" subway lines (Red and Blue Lines) from there to 34th Street-Penn Station.

Once at 34th Street-Penn Station, follow the direction signs leading you to MSG.
