How far on in your pregnancy when your nesting instincts started kicking in ?

lol i have a feeling i will be the sortoff person who wont get a nesting insticnt i hate cleaning now

I'm 24 weeks and I have just started feeling it kick in..It's pretty cool my babies room would never have been done it it wern't for that gotta have everything perfect feeling..

Mine just started to kick in, and I am 36 weeks.

It could be as soon as baby is born that you get the urge, it could be at the very beginning and what makes you take the test to start with, everyone is different.

I don't think anyone likes housework, you just do it because it needs to be done and with time you get used to it.  I'm nearly 40 and I still hate it!

Don't despair, even if you get baby blues, make sure you seek help and always do what is bst for baby, not just what others want you to do.

With my first it wasn't until I went into labour lol My son was two weeks over due and just suddenly went into a freenzy of cleaning and making sure the baby's room was ready then my waters broke over my clean floor!   With my daughter I was 7 months pregnant and just moved into our new house.

I am 37 weeks w/ my second and no nesting instincts, never got them w/ my first either.

I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and my nesting instincts have kicked in good and proper..lol I'm a bit OCD with cleaning anyway so my other half says but now I'm finding myself pulling everything out from the kitchen cubboards and from under the bed and sorting it out and cleaning it out! lol... im loving clearing the spare room out for the nursery furniture weve got! lol..

usually with in the last 2 mnths.......its when ur full of energy....this is natures way of preparing u for the labour....try to conserve ur energy.....even if u do feel the need to get up at 4 am..and clean the oven! :)

On and off I would get these bursts of energy where I would clean, clean, clean.  But the weekend before I had my daughter was the worst!  That's when I got the BIGGEST burst of energy and had everything 100% ready for my daughter.

with my 2 it was around the 8 month mark each time.

One day I was in the bed, unable to function and the next I was weeding and mopping and cleaning out cupboards!  I defo resembled a slighty crazed individual!!!
