How far out should the gas pedal be on mission bindings?

I wear size 11.5 boots and noticed that I can adjust the gas pedals on the bindings. how far out should they be. Should they be flush with my board or have them overhang and try to get them flush with my boots? where is there more control?

I just keep mine flush with the edge of my freeride board.  I love GS turns so I can't have anything catching.

If you want a little more power, you can take them out to about half a centimeter past the board.  Any more and you could run the risk of catching them on the snow when you toe-side.
