How far....?

how far is the endline where you serve to the net...i need to start practicing serving and i want to make sure have the right distance

its 30 feet...but you need to rememer that you have to hit it much farther so it can reach over the net

from the baseline to the net it is 30ft..so you would need to  serve the ball farther than 30ft & high enough to get over the net

USAV has switched to the metric.  It is 9 meters which is about 29 feet.  

Use the 30 feet and the net for women is 7'4 1/4" and 8' for men.
