I have a 32" inch Samsung and I'm running a Samsung Blu-Ray player connected via HDMI, and running resolution 720p/1080i. I sit between 12-25 feet away from the TV. Am I losing detail by sitting this far away?

  1. Yes. In general you should sit no closer than 1.5 times the screen diagonal and no further than 3 times the diagonal. So, you should be no more than 7.5 feet from a 32" screen
