  1. i run 2.4 miles a day and it takes about 20-25 minutes.

    try to run at least a mile a day or run for at least 15 minutes.

  3. It depends on your goals and why you are running. If you are just looking for exercise to improve your cardiovascular conditioning then you need to run for at least 20 to 30 minutes 3 to 5 times each week.

    If you have other goals then you need to establish what you are trying to accomplish.

  5. Well, As the answers said before the Government says to live a healthy life you should be active for 30min-1hour a day. It doesn't matter how far you run, But if you are going to run to enjoy it and get healthy lifestyle I'd run probably 3 miles near the begining, It doesn't have to be necessarily fast just enough to keep you breathing hard so you are getting a good workout.

    Every week increase the millage, maybe add .5 miles a week and go faster then you should probably peak at near 10 miles if you are willing to become that dedicated.

    So to answer your question quickly, Run for about 20-30 and fast enough till you are breathing hard for the majority of the time don't worry about how far you go. Hope this helps!
