  1. First things first, get your puppy fully vaccinated. your vet will let you know at what point your guy is ready to venture out. During the get to know the pup period you'll be able to judge how energetic your guy is. Each dog within the breed is different, some might get tired out with 2 blocks others might need 4 miles. You'll probably be on the low side of that scale since your not getting a border collie. ;)

  2. Don't walk it anywhere untill it has completed its DHLP series. Sorry can't help it.

Even small dogs like to go for long walks. It's great cardio exercise, and if you teach them to walk beside you and be well behaved, it is great mental exercise as well. Good luck on a new puppy!

  3. 10-15 minutes

  4. when you first get it, dont walk it to much or too far as it can lead to bone deformation.

AS it gets old increase the distance you walk it.

a good walk for a dog is about 15-35 minutes, but when its a pup about 10 minutes is good enough

  5. Just around the block, puppies will rip around the house playing so their always moveing around and getting exercise and getting worn out.

  6. I walk my chihuahua 1 to 3 miles a day unless it's raining.  A puppy even has more energy but a mile should be enough.

  7. Just go for a 10-20 minute walk every day, or every 2 days.

Me and my sister were looking after 2 bichons for 1 week and we only walked for that long, and went down our street then down the street next to ours and through the park then back down our street. And we have a break at the park and let them run around for a while.

I think Schnauzers depending on the size need 10-30 mins walk. and same with poodles. or a bit shorter.

  8. Well Just Make Sure The Dog Got Alot Rest But Probably Like 30Minutes? Make Sure When You Get Home Its Gets Water And Rest

  9. It really depends on the breed and energy of your puppy. Here is some information that I found to be true:

"If your dog is still a puppy don’t over-exercise them. They only have short legs so even a short walk to them is like a marathon to us! Keep exercise and walks short to start with. Let your dog guide you as to the length of time you walk them. If they are tired, stop and leave it for a while. Once they’re over 9 months old they will need longer walks depending on the breed of dog."
