  1. Like everybody else said, as far back as possible.  It helps to keep your nose up which allows you to float easier.  And if you have the money to drop on it, check out swallowtail snowboards.  I know Winterstick has one.  I remember reading reviews about them like last season, and they said that it apparently reduces pow-leg to almost nothing.  Only thing is, switch riding is pretty much impossible, and it's useless anywhere besides deep powder.

  2. I don't move my bindings back but I'd say only a few inches is necessary. It really depends on how far you're having to lean back in your current configuration. If you can stay afloat without having to move them back and without having to burn out your back leg, then don't move them.

  3. as far back as they go, anything to get the weight balance to the tail of the board and keep the tip up and out of the snow. If you're using a regular board there really is no avoiding Pow-Leg

  4. Just get a Burton Fish. The nose is Tapered and flexes very high.

  5. SHOULD

  6. Okay, you want your stance as far as possible.

This will make it so you won't get as tired trying to get out of the deep powder and it will help keep the nose of the board up. I'd say one of the worst things is getting stuck in deep powder. After that just go pow.

  7. as far as possible
