How far will the Rockets go?

We know that they will pass the 1st round, but what is next?

Artest------Battier

McGrady--Head

I think they can get pretty far. The Rockets are one of the teams that are know for there defense now they have the best defender in the league. Plus we can score pretty good with some help of Yao Ming, Scola, Dorsey, and Artest for some inside scoring. I think they have a really good chance of going all the way.

Conference title is definitely within reach. With Artest, they can now go head to head with the Spurs and Lakers.

To win a title, it is most likely that they'll face Boston, possibly Detroit. Artest's addition can definitely improve the Rockets' chances against Detroit, but against Boston it might be tougher.

The bottom line is that the Rockets are now in the Top 3 Teams in the West.

They can get passed the first round if Tracy plays like in prime again and if Yao and Rafer are healthy. They need to bring back the same intensity they had during the 22 game win streak, and then, their chances are high, maybe semis?

I'm sure the Rockets can make it out of the first round.  I'm hoping they can make it to the Final and play Celtics.  I think that'll be a good match up.  Last year Lakers was horrible and although my team won easily, I like to see better games which would be Celtics against Rockets.

yo "d-wade is the best" the franchise is for steve francise, hes not saying that alston is there franchise player lol.  but honestly, i dont see them getting out of the first round again.  Yao and T-Mac ALWAYS get hurt.  i bet artest is the only 1 of there new "big 3" that plays over 60 games.  plus, there still not that great.  Hornets, lakers, jazz, and spurs are all still better. plus they havent even played yet.  artest is a cancer, and it will probably have a negative affect on the rockets.

They could go to the Finals with that strong starting lineup, but there are a few problems. If Artest doesn't fit well on the team, they'll have major problems. If Yao or McGrady get injured pretty badly, then their chances will be shot down like last season. And finally, the bench won't be terrible, but are they good enough to contribute for wins. If those problems are solved, then the Rockets could very well be within the top 2 seeds of the Western Conference.
