How far will the San Diego Chargers go?

The Chargers have had a full season with new coach Norv Turner, and are loaded with questionably the best talent in the league. Tomlinson isn't getting younger.........the time should be now. What do you think?

  1. They are going all the way back to San Diego to watch the Colts vs Patriots play in the Conference Finals

  2. I think super bowl. The chargers lost to the patriots last year without LT and with Gates and Rivers both with injuries. They also will have chambers for a full season and he can get in tune with rivers moreso and this will also help develop Vincent Jackson and former first round pick Craig Davis. Tomlinson will definently be good ol LT like usual. The only question is defense. If merriman actually holds up and his knee allows him to play a full season then they should be in tip top.Cromartie and co will play even better this yr so shore up the secondary tho it will have a tough time of course stopping the Patriots pass attack.

  3. They've got a game in London this year, that's pretty far to go.

  4. All the way to Tampa Bay..............

  5. 2009 Superbowl Champions!

    GO BOLTS!

  6. not that far... they will do fair...

  7. the 2nd answer above me is funny  =)

  8. Jacob Hester will take Tomlinson's slack.

  9. Conference Finals

  10. All the way to the Super Bowl against the Dallas Cowboys.

That would be my dream matchup, anyway.

  11. Nowhere really.

  12. Every year, they supposedly have the best talent in the league, but they never do much with it. They remind me of the Cowboys. Both teams have a ton of pro bowlers, but their teams seem to get weaker as the season goes on. Stats don't always translate into wins, and the Chargers will most likely prove that this year, once again.

  13. Conference finals vs. Colts. Pats don't make it. Chargers lose 27-21 in OT.

  14. well if you think about it the only good teams in the AFC are the Pats, Colts, Jacksonville Jags, and Chargers (you can argue the others but that's my opinion).

But the Chargers lost their start and star Defensive End,Shawne Merriman (got injured).

That was the main reason people thought the would beat the Pats and now that he is gone/or wont be 100%/ or worse could get severely injured if he plays, the chargers defense is gonna go from Interception Machine to Not that Bad defense. I had their defenese on my fantasy team so i should know.

Offensively they are only a one dimensional team. Stop LT and the games is over. They need a new QB and WRs. LT cant do it all by himself. Any team they play will spare a safety to help with the Run. LT is a beast but no RB can lead the way entirely to the SuperBowl.

Expect the playoffs, Hope the Conference, Pray the SuperBowl

  15. All the way to London this year, about 6000 miles.

  16. Im thinkin SB up against the Boys

  17. They will win the AFC West. God I really hate saying that. But beyond that I really can't say. They have a lot of talent and should be able to go further but something always seems to stop them. With their playoff record and Norv as a coach the Superbowl is doubtful.
