How far will the Spurs fall after a very bad off season?

The spurs are getting a bit older (or "experienced") but i think that they are a spent force. They are in the top 10 teams in the league, but are no longer a real title contender, and wont be until they get a bit more energy and youth.

And hopefully Manu didn't get his ankle busted up too bad against USA...

Basketball champ u dotn know anything, Spurs will lose next year. They got lucky in first roudn vs suns, timmy making a 3????? ya righ tliek that will ever happen again. SPurs are done. Next year Lakers and Hea tin finals all the way to game 7,and Lakers win. Celtics lost james posey , they cant win with out him. Last season celtics won because he made lucky 3s with eddie house. Lakers onw. SPurs stink.

I'm a Lakers fan after beating the Spurs very easy in the playoffs last year ,you could see Where their weaknesses were.The Spur did nothing to fix them.

First of all who said they did bad last year they went far in the playoffs, I evn had a small amount of hope that they would even beat the lakers and go to the finals. But in those games barry couldnt keep his mind going what was that ugly thing he did? I was thinking barry how could you..., well  now i have to debate and say that how cany you even think the blazers are better than the spurs. Im no spurs fan, but i cant believe anyone would say that... Spurs won the finals last year!!! Why does everyone think they stink? they would own any team that faced them except for  the lakers the Celtics and maybe the pistons... The spurs will not fall any more back and will come out in the next Nba playoffs to win the finals vs the lakers... One thing is it wont be theceltics...Why would they put posey off the team? As long as the Spurs have Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili, they will be tough to beat in the West.  They are disciplined and have the most experience of any team in the league, that is a very tough combination to beat.  Other teams did make improvements but they have to show it on the court.

Not very far. Its not like they have lost any significant guys.  They still be an elite team.  

I highly doubt the Blazers are better than the Spurs.  People are giving the Blazers too much credit too early.  We still need to see how well the youth meld together.  The Suns havent gotten any new additions, so I dont know what makes you think they are better.

The Spurs won't fall at all.  Kobe is going to be a baby and drive Pau out of town.  The Hornets will still be good but they lack a third primary player.  The Jazz don't have the talent.  The Blazers will be lucky to make the playoffs.  The Suns lost to the Spurs in the playoffs and neither team lost/got a primary player.
