I am an American permanent resident, and Bosnian Citizen. I just got my passport back with my Ukranian Visa. I'm flying from Washington DC on October 18th to Ukraine, I plan to travel to Italy on 26th and return to Ukraine on the 1st of November. I need a 1, 2 or 3 day processing for my visa, does Italy Embassy provide that or do you know of any other Schengen Sate that does?

  1. The Schengen visa is issued more or less one to two weeks depending upon the volume of the applicants.

  2. Well like all the others have said, you've left it a bit late. Your best bet at this time would be to phone the nearest Italian embassy and request an appointment and explain the situation, fly to them and show them your tickets and see if they can expediate the process. They may be able to do something, perhaps not. You're welcome to try. Just make sure you have all the documents required and bring a few extra ones for back up.

    As for the usual processing times. Usually people say that to give them an idea on how long it will take to process a visa/application. They usually take a bit less time. No one in their right mind says "same day processing" (especially in government) because then you get people demanding that they do it the same day and loitering around outside.

  3. you will not get a visa processed in a couple of days.......nor in Italy or any other country in the schengen zone, not enough time to process..

    for a fee you may find an agent, but still not in only 3 days........you have started too late. sorry ;
