  1. 317.6 mph -  jet

    220.5 -  propeller.

  2. Go Fast is a term used to describe a type of boat, usually big on HP, short on mufflers, loud paint job, narrow hull or hulls in the case of a cat, driven by a guy with a hairy back and a lot of gold jewelry.  We had a 38 in last month that did 165, a 70 in today that does only 77, but was built for comfort as much as speed.  The go fast style has no set minimum or maximum speeds associated with it.

  3. It all depends on how much money you've got. The more you spend on your boat the faster it is likely to go.

  4. I think the world record speed for a boat is about 600 mph.

  5. 312 mph is the world record

  6. most of them can easily do about 100mph on calm ocean water.

modified ones can do faster of course.

some racing powerboats do close to 200mph.

heres a link to the wikipedia page about them.
