In most scientific experiments the results have proved that running across an NBA basketball court depends on many variables in the equation.  For example:  The weather, date, time of day, player, wind resistance, size of basketball (mens or womens), and shoe size.  However the following equation should help you determine how fast you can  run across the court.

    divide your height by your shoe size and then add 1.2 for a womens bball and 2.7 for a mens bball.  Then subract your weight and multiply by -1 to make it positive.  Add the square root of the force of the wind resistance and 76.2 because that is the length of an NBA basketball court.  This has been proven to work for many people...however, I do not have the pleasure of meeting them.  Good luck and enjoy your sprints.
