How fast do most of the pro wakeboarders go?

They will keep up with any towboat and with some manoeuvres will exceed the towboats speed.

It is a personal preference actually.  Normal speed is between 21 and 24 mph.  Depending on hull design of the the boat and how much ballast is added (1K to 3K lbs plus), the shape of the wake at the point where the rider will hit the most optimal point for maximum pop will determine the speed the boat should be traveling.  The slower the boat is traveling this will be closer to the boat, the faster the boat is moving, the further out this point will be.

well it depends on how much they weigh or how high they want to pop of the wake when i wake board i weigh 114 and i go about 15 to 20 miles per hour i would try to find a comfortable speed for you
