  1. 75, because a lot of driver do at least 10 over and I don't want to get run over.

  2. i usually do 72, definetly not more than 75... why? because in my driver's ed class, they got a police officer to speak to us, and said, that most cops will let u go at 10 miles over the speed limit on a highway...and plus, speeding tickets are one of the easiest to fight in court... so if u get a speeding ticket for doing 75 on a 65, just say, road conditions were clear, light traffic, etc... and then ticket,,, GONE!

  3. I go 5-7mph over.  I don't like to get passed by semis and I like to stay ahead of the pack.  I know I am a good driver and keep my eyes way down the road.  There have been way to many close calls where the moron in front of my was on the phone and didn't realize there were shreds of a semi tire in the middle of the highway until it was too late.  If I say ahead I know I can avoid or slow down for obstacles.  I highly doubt I will get a ticket but if I do its worth the peace of mind.

  4. As fast as I feel is safe.

On ice and snow (to name a few) 65 is just too fast.

When I have felt like it 180, at that speed even the aircraft can't keep up.

  5. 65 mph : Speed kills!

  6. I usually do around 85 just to keep from getting ran over. I live in the Chicago suburbs and everybody drives like maniacs around here

  7. the basic speed law says, to drive no faster than what is posted.... or sometimes lower if driving conditions wont allow u to drive the speed limit... like raining or snowing.... or foggy wheater.... but u are doin the right thing.... by driving the speed limit... nothin wrong wit that.... everyone else who drives too fast are putting other people at risk... those speed limits wer posted for a reason, cops can give u a ticket for even 1mph over the speed limit...but they usually dont, ther looking for unsafe drivers who exceed the speed limit.... so ur alright, a little over maybe up to 70mph ull still b safe....

  8. its only other people that set it, if everyo9ne else is breaking it you are not breaking the law. the law is made up by the majority of the population apparently

  9. I go at whatever speed feels comfortable. I really don't look at the speedometer unless I have reason to believe a cop is in the area.

If people are tailgating you and it's bothersome, lightly tap the brakes so that you hardly slow down. They're likely to press the brakes harder, and get the message.

If I am behind someone doing the speed limit, I usually won't pass them. One mph lower than the speed limit and I will though!

  10. I usually do approx. 2 miles under the limit. That way I'm not a part of the pack. And I'm never in a hurry. I enjoy the ride.

  11. 5-10mph over the limit cops wont bother you

  12. 75... cause i dont want to get run over by 18 wheelers,,,and i like to go fast

  13. i do the speed limit...

    so i don't get a ticket..

    you are doing nothing wrong

  14. 65 to 68 and let everyone else just pass you, better safe than sorry.

  15. I don't travel faster than 70 because up here in NY you get hit with double the fine if you get caught over 65mph. My logic (twisted as it might be) is that I can slow down to 65 in a hurry if I see a trooper.
