How fast do you have to run the 800 meter run in order to get a full ride D1 scholarship?

to colleges such as the university of texas (UT), or any other great schools such as ivy league. i have a 4.0 GPA, 2220 on my SAT, and top 3% in my class, so i am good on grades. could i even get a full ride with my grades alone?

Actually, grades do matter and can factor into whether the coach is interested in recruiting you at all.

Half athletic scholarship and half academic would be a good goal.

A 1:51 is good, but you need more than one event.  What are your times in either the 400 or 1600?
