It looks like just complete bumber to bumber traffic. But are they all moving fast since they're most likely all going the same way for a while.

  1. very slow!

  2. Well, they are all moving to the same desitation, but people are going to keep coming up the interstate. The further they go on I-10, the lighter and lighter the traffic would be. I would say though w/ the high amount of evacuees in such a short time,  I would assume most of the time the traffic was very slow moving!

  3. Well there's alot of cars first off and when you get out the interstate there are traffic lights to direct people east or west which does slow traffic. Every driver is different some maybe going fast and some might be going slow due to age, nervousness, or they're just a slow driver. =] x

  4. I just drove for 18 hours for what is normally a 5 hour trip.  My speed varied.  Most of the time, the needle on the speedometer did not even register a number (it starts at 10).

  5. Is this one of your math homework questions?

"If 3000 cars are all driving east, going 45 MPH, then 2 lanes split and begin traveling North East, How big of a traffic Jam would it cause?"

    hehehe

    =)
