in 1995 the machines were much different. I bet it won't go more than about 50

Depends on the model, engine size, single or dual carbs, etc. but here's a ballpark of the top end of various models in stock condition for that year:

633cc Wave Runner III 34 - 35 mph*

701cc Wave Runner III 40 - 41 mph*

701cc Wave Blaster 43 - 44 mph*

701cc Wave Venture 45 - 46 mph*

701cc Wave Raider 50 - 51 mph*

1050cc Wave Raider 57 - 58 mph*

These speeds are what the factory certifies as being legit, you'll always have someone who claims his stock pwc does 10 mph faster on the "dream-o-meter"  which is pretty inaccurate.

Hard to answer this question without knowing it's HP.

We have a Honda Aquatrax Turbo two seater  and it has 165 HP and me and my hubby can get it up to 60-65 mph on the water with both of us on it.
