  1. I was on the Carnival Glory last September, and between Mexico and the Bahamas, we were cruising at about 24 knots.  The rest of the trip was about 21-22.

  2. 20 knots

  3. The Queen Mary 2 is one of the fastest ships on the high seas. It can go about 26 knots which is about 30 MPH. Most ships built today can do 22-25 knots so about 25-28 MPH.

doesn't mean they go at "full speed ahead" as most ships sail along at 15-18 knots depending on the time they have to get to the next port of call.

You can figure that a ship leaving port A at 5 PM and arriving at port B at 8 AM has about 15 hours and if they are traveling 300 nautical miles needs to travel about 20 knots.

  4. im not sure but i went Carnival and had the time of my life

  5. Most of the modern cruise ships, including Carnival's, have a top cruising speed of 21 to 25 knots.  This works out to 24.15 to 28.75 MPH.

Carnival's fastest ships are the Conquest class, which can cruise at 22.5 knots (almost 26 MPH).

The Spirit class can cruise at 22 knots (25.3 MPH).

The Fantasy class can cruise at 21 knots.

  6. Most cruise ships have atop speed of about 25 knots.  However, the ships do not always travel that fast.  They normally go only as fast as is needed to get to the next port stop at the scheduled time.  SO sometimes the ship will be going only about 15 to 18 knots, really very slow.

  7. It travels fast like 25 knots but its not so fast as you can feel its every move you can just feel the motion

  8. Carnival has different classes (sizes) of vessels.

The simple answer is 20-26 miles per hour
