I was wondering about how fast the average golf ball is hit by a pro player, and what is the top usual speed?

  1. Your average tour golfer can hit a drive somewhere between 150 mph and 170 mph and around 280 yards. Tiger can regularly do around 180 mph. The world record is 204 mph by Jason Zuback, he can hit it 450+ yards.
