Yeah, if it is on a motocross track the rider has a lot to do with it, but having a much faster bike is a big advantage also. I don't know about top speed since usually that isn't a specification that is often mentioned when speaking of dirt bikes. Acceleration is what matters in the dirt. You didn't mention if it was an F or R model and what you would be racing against.
