  1. 30 km/s. that is 30*3600 km/h that is 108000 km/h, or 67500 mph.

believe it or not, its true.

  2. It varies from as slow as 65,519 to as much as 67,756 MPH, because Earth speeds up and slows down in its elliptical orbit. The average is 66,638 MPH. The source is in km/sec, which I converted to MPH.

  3. About 66,600 MPH...

Figure, the Earth is 93,000,000 miles from the sun.

The orbit of the Earth (if it's a circle) is pi X 2 X 93,000,000 miles around, or about 584,324,394 miles around.  Divide that by 365.25 days, and you get: 1,599,793 miles per day.  Divide that by 24, and you get 66,658 miles per hour.

  4. 68400 mph

  5. Appoximately 30 km/s!

  6. NASA claims it's just over 67,000 miles per hour.  I don't know how reliable of a source that is.. ;)

It may be of use to know that that's just an average.  The speed Earth orbits the Sun is faster when it's closer, and slows down as its distance increases.

  7. Approximately 68.8 thousand miles per hour.

  8. 2*pie AU/year lol
