How fast is a 10 Horsepower Boat?

So I want to rent a Jet Ski or a boat in LA. I'm having trouble with the Jet Ski part.

I found a place that has resonable pricing on boating, How fast is a 10 Horsepower. Is that like Speed boat or fishing boat? I want to go fast....

A 10 horsepower motor is very slow, it's only nice for putting around a lake.

Go with the ski jet for speed.

Fishing boat. a 10 HP is slow. You can not ski, tube or even attempt to behind one.

Ya basically 10 -12 mph even on smooth water
