  1. just like this .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

  2. March beat, upbeat, allegro.....etc  feel it in 2

  3. If it's 6/8 time, as in a time signature, it is the equivalent of 3/4 time (obviously) but with twice as many beats per measure -- 6-- and an 8th note gets one count.

If you're talking about 68 bpm (beats per minute), you'll need a metronome to get an exact idea. Here's an online one: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

  4. "6 8" has nothing to do with tempo.

  5. The speed is not determined by the time signature. A 6/8 beat means that each measure is made up of six beats and each beat would be represented by an eight-note. In a 6/8 time signature, the first beat would get the emphasis, with a medium emphasis on the fourth beat. All other beats would be considered week. A conductor will usually let you know when the first and fourth beats are, other beats fall in triplet formation. Essentially, the patter is:

Strong, weak, weak, Med., weak, weak. (think Blue Danube Waltz)

  6. That has nothing to do with the tempo. Calculate the bpm for speed.

  7. 68 beats per min.

  8. 6/8 is not a speed, it's a type of rhythm.

  9. a six eight beat is not usually really fast. It is considered the "march" beat. It is at a steady beat like the same as when you would take a step.

  10. its a little over a second per beat

  11. lol... cool! is it the WTAMU camp? b/c i was about to go there... anyway... it's the same as 3/4 beat. it's just like 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3... and so onnnn and onnn. it depends on how fast ur tempo is.
