  1. I have no idea, but interesting Question!

  2. An eye blinks at 300 to 400 hundred ms (milliseconds) per blink.  The average eye is 24 mm (millimeters). So it is between .06-.08 mm per ms.   Or 0.2 - 0.29 km/hr  or  0.12 - 0.18 mi/hr.  Really slow for a car, but very fast for your eye.  The eye lid does not travel very far. Very interesting question

  3. On average, your blink takes about 3/10th to 4/10ths of a second.  The human eye is about 2.5cm.

    2.5cm / (3.5/10 s) = 7.14285714 cm/s

    Converted into other units:

    About 0.2-0.3 km/hr (0.257142857 km/hour)

    About 0.1-0.2 miles/hr (0.159781164 miles/hour)

I'm kind of surprised--it certainly feels like they're going a lot faster.
