I am having surgery on my sinuses to tomorrow, there is going to be some removal of bone and my septum is going to be straightened.

I was wondering if anybody out there has had this type of surgery and knew approximately how long it takes to recoup.

  1. About six weeks, M.  You'll probably have a lot of facial bruising and you won't be blowing your nose for a few days. That being said, it will be worth

it, they will give you some fine meds, take as directed.  There is nothing worse than going to the ENT every 6 months to have your sinuses roto-rootered.  Good luck tomorrow and I will be thinking of you.  CS

  2. I had this procedure done like 10 years ago and I was down for about a week then I felt fine....dont remember any pain afterwords or facial bruising. good luck
